Diamond Plate to support Anthrax on first ever UK shows

Chicago thrashers DIAMOND PLATE have confirmed three UK shows, marking the first time ever that the band will have played outside of North America.

DIAMOND PLATE are due to support thrash metal legends ANTHRAX at two special shows in March in London and Oxford, followed by a main stage slot at Hammerfest in Wales.

DIAMOND PLATE lead guitarist KONRAD KUPIEC comments:

"We couldn't be more honored to announce that our first UK appearances will be supporting the legendary Anthrax. Playing in the UK and playing with one of our biggest idols seemed like two separate goals this early in our careers; to see them happen together so soon is almost surreal and we're excited as hell.

"Following two shows with Anthrax, we'll be taking part in Hammerfest, and this will mark our first festival performance ever. We'll be sharing the stage once again with Anthrax, in addition to Exodus, Chimaira, our labelmates Evile, and many more. These will be the biggest shows we have played yet, and hope these shows serve as a sign of bigger things to come for Diamond Plate in 2012!"
