Hi, I'm Peter Keevil and I suppose I am the creator and curator of Midlands Rocks.

 

I've been into Rock & Metal music since I can remember, even back to when I had hair!

 

The thinking behind Midlands Rocks is simple. First and foremost its a GIG GUIDE we typically feature around 300/400 live gigs across the region at any one time.

 

It is also a LIVE REVIEWS website. Our humble attempt to simply remain in the moment for as long as possible - long after the ears have stopped ringing the morning after or when the day job rears its head again.

 

Fast on the heals of LIVE REVIEWS, come LIVE GIG PHOTOS and we at Midlands Rocks have a dedicated army of photographers there to capture the memories for all time.

 

Based on that foundation of quality coverage of LIVE MUSIC, we also get to talk the the bands and so we have begun an INTERVIEWS section capturing the people behind the vibes that rock our world. To accompany that we have begun write ALBUM REVIEWS, and this area is picking up nicely too.

 

But this website goes way beyond what I can write about and cover. Since it launched at the end of May 2009, the team has grown to some 30+ people - reviewers and photographers all buying into the same vision - a cracking website that Keeps it LOUD!
