Harry is a freelance writer and life-long music fanatic.

 

He has contributed articles on subjects as diverse as music, politics and poetry to many publications and websites, over the years.

 

These days, you’ll find his work published by Soundsphere Magazine, Moonshine Magazine, Midlands Rocks and New Rock Music, among others. He also pens press packs, publicity blurb, album liner notes and other assorted ephemera.

 

Originally from Alloa, he lives in Nottingham with his wife, freelance photographer, Sue, their three kids and four of cats.

 

Harry also plays guitar badly, stud poker erratically, chess with a growing consistency and eight and nine-ball pool with a degree of proficiency.

 

When not writing, he is a dedicated crusader for the cause of rock ‘n’ roll, the protection of apostrophes and the elimination of text-speak.

 

He loves Indian food, malt whisky, Alloa Athletic and books. Passionately.

 

Oh, and the symphonies of Gustav Mahler. Equally passionately.
