Midlands Rocks Reviewer

Hi, I’m David Waterfield. I spend far too much money supporting Wolverhampton Wanderers and I play air guitar when I think no one is watching.

I’ve been passionate about music for as long as I can remember and have always been enthusiastic about sharing the music that I love with others.  

I was delighted to join the Midlands Rocks team in 2011 and my first gig reviewing for them was Blackmore’s Night at Birmingham Town Hall.

My musical tastes are primarily melodic, classic and progressive rock (my favourite three bands are Electric Light Orchestra, Yes and Queen) but I like many other genres too. When it comes to music I don’t do ‘guilty pleasures’ - life’s too short for all of that!
